Terms of Use

1. Service provider

The Bram service is provided by Upcloud Lda., registered at Rua Quinta de Belmonte 184, 3030-460 Coimbra, Portugal, VAT PT514564016 (hereinafter "Bram" or "we").

2. What Bram is

Bram is an artificial intelligence assistant for tradespeople and service professionals, accessible via WhatsApp. The service lets you create quotes and invoices, manage schedules, track payments and communicate with customers — all through text and voice messages.

Bram is not a certified accounting service and does not replace tax, legal or financial advisors. Documents generated are working aids and the user is responsible for their legal validity.

3. Access to the service

Bram is intended for sole traders and businesses. To access the service you must:

  • Have an active mobile number with a WhatsApp account.
  • Complete registration and accept these Terms.
  • Maintain an active subscription (after the free trial period).

You must be at least 18 years old. Access is personal and non-transferable.

4. Free trial

New users benefit from a free trial period as indicated at the time of registration. During this period, full access to the service is available. Once the trial ends, a paid subscription is required to continue using Bram.

5. Subscription and payments

Plans and pricing are available at bram.chat. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on the chosen plan.
  • Payment is automatically charged on the renewal date.
  • Prices may be updated with 30 days' prior notice.
  • No refunds are issued for partial periods, except where required by law.

6. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of starting your subscription, without giving reasons, provided you have not used the service during that period. To exercise this right, contact us at info@steezy.eu.

7. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time via the portal at bram.chat/dashboard or by emailing info@steezy.eu. Access to the service continues until the end of the paid period. After cancellation, data is retained in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Bram for:

  • Illegal or fraudulent activities.
  • Sending unsolicited messages or spam to your customers.
  • Entering false, misleading, or third-party data without authorisation.
  • Attempting to access other users' data or compromising system security.
  • Reselling, sublicensing or making the service available to third parties.

Breach of these rules may result in immediate account suspension.

9. Your customers' data

You are responsible for the personal data of your own customers that you enter into Bram (names, phone numbers, job descriptions, etc.). You confirm that you have an adequate legal basis to share that data with us for the purpose of receiving the service, in accordance with GDPR.

10. Intellectual property

The Bram name, logo and all service elements are the property of Upcloud Lda. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service during your active subscription.

Content you create (job descriptions, quote text, etc.) belongs to you. You grant us a licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the service.

11. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep the service continuously available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance where possible.

We reserve the right to change, suspend or discontinue service features, with reasonable prior notice to active users.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Bram is provided "as is", without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.
  • We are not liable for business losses, lost profits or indirect damages arising from use or unavailability of the service.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or where the law does not permit such exclusion.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. For material changes, we will notify active users via WhatsApp or email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service after that period constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will attempt an amicable resolution. Failing that, the courts of Coimbra shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
